COMMENT: Beach House – ANCHORED – Middle of Caicos Bank, Turks & Caicos
We\’re doing the trip across the Caicos Bank. This is the third most natural site remarked upon by the Astronauts from outer space.
It\’s 60 miles x 30 miles across. The bottom is mostly all white sand and it\’s 5-20 feet deep. We\’re anchored in 10 feet of water. It\’s \”gin clear\”
and we\’ve had a swim. Water temp is 82 deg F, 27.8 C. It\’s so calm out here, it\’s looks like the worlds largest natural swimming pool. The Bahamas Banks are however similar and larger!…Yet to come. Winlink had a problem over the weekend and so we could not post this till today. Two more position reports to follow.
