Agulhas Buster… This boat (what a portent of my future) had an accidental gybe en route up coast from Knysna. A severe hand injury and a broken boom.

Now en route to Port Elizabeth – This was a bit bumpy in the Agulhas Current, this night we were hit by lightening!
Our first sighting of African Penguins. We saw birds at a distance and expected them to fly away. Instead, when we approached, they dove!
Approaching Port Elizabeth, the water was now quite calm, the coastal scenery becoming beautiful.
Docks at Port Elizabeth Yacht Club. To say the least they were dangerous. Look at the metal tab that went all the way around. If you touch that, it’s like “keying” your car. We had quite an experience with a local as well…Did I write about that in the Ship’s Blog?
