Leowa was our “go to gal” in Savusavu. She helped us get our Lau permit and was a very pleasant young lady.

Former Leper Colony too!
This is a former Leper Colony and now Government Research Station
Cindy and I had visited a similar facility last year in Aitutaki – Cook Islands

This Island was the Pacific’s largest Leprosy Colony during the 20th Century.

Fortunately, Charlie let us tie up to his dock. The entrance was very narrow and only 5 feet deep at low tide!
Peter’s birthday was the next day and Diana had arranged for all of us to do one of the world’s premier “Shark Dives” (See next gallery!)
