(The Shark Dive will be it\’s own separate Gallery)….. Leowa was our “go to gal” in Savusavu. She helped us get our Lau permit and was a very pleasant young lady. Can you just see yourself riding around with this guy?…:-) The best in the region….. Just liked the feel of it! Migration and a “Cat”….Savusavu Bay – Fiji This would be her last day as she decided to move on the next day Farewell and bisses Sandrine! Immediately next to Savusavu Grand Central Station and The Chimneys. Only 6 bungalows here. Anja likes to “point and shoot” and does a lovely job I might add. Lots of current too. Lots of “bommies” and very shallow. Vanua Levu in the background Former Leper Colony too! This is a former Leper Colony and now Government Research Station Cindy and I had visited a similar facility last year in Aitutaki – Cook Islands Ketselle on tour, with Scott This Island was the Pacific’s largest Leprosy Colony during the 20th Century. They’re brave! s/v “Casteele” on the left, s/v “Beach House” on the right. Makongdrona Island where we went diving is in the background Maybe a hold over from WW2? We watch 1960’s Ed Sullivan re-runs and a Queen Concert on the big screen outside. Fortunately, Charlie let us tie up to his dock. The entrance was very narrow and only 5 feet deep at low tide! Peter’s birthday was the next day and Diana had arranged for all of us to do one of the world’s premier “Shark Dives” (See next gallery!)
